Hello, are the supports necessary?

I scaled it up to 24cm, because I wanted to try out my Ender 3 Pro. After the fourth try it came out relatively nice! I just had some trouble with the overhang curlings. I would be very happy if anybody had a good tip for me, how can I print something precise like this but without the curling of the thin layers? I tried: turn off fan, fan at maximum and PLA only at 192 degrees of Celsius, print very slowly. Thank you!

How mucho is it posibble to scale down to have like a Keychain version or something like that?

Simply amazing, Thank you :)

Excellent 3d printing, thanks!

Tried to make it bigger, 190-200mm. Tried it 5 times with different settings in Cura. Evert time it ended up with a failed print. The base turned out good...but the voronoi-pattern didnt attatched well to the base. Anyone else experiensed the same problem when scale this model up?

Hi, I scaled it down to 70% and after the base was printed, it starts to fail - I had 100 % Infill and I was not sure, if this was the prob....then I read here in the comments and changed the scale to 71%. The Infill to 15%. Now it works ....

it may be because during the modeling process he cut unrequired polygons, with the original it's no problem, but if there's even the slightest gap between the statue and the base, it too will be scaled up, instead of going 1 layer up, the printer will go 2 or more layers up, resulting in poor, or no bonding to the base. you may be able to fix it in your prefered modeling software, and make the base and the statue overlap just a tiny bit.

hello
I love this model and same for all people I've share it
I've print it 5 times at this day...
I've found some led box i would like to introduce on the base, is it possible to have this 3D on Step file to update it as I want ?
Thanks in advansed.

Is there a male correspondent, because i would like to build some bedside lamps with this Model and a male one?
By the way great work!

Excellent work. Finished one last night - turned out great.

how did you made the model?

This is so beautiful. Really it is! I just wanted to know what program did you use to achieve this

easier to print than the other versions due to the base. just keep an eye on the top of the neck. depends on the printer you may need to slow the print down around that point. printed at 0.2mm and 20% infill.

did you uses supports?

Beautiful work. Printing one now and I cant help but stare at it : ) Great job!
