Thanks for this :-)

While I am fine with making bits-and-bobs of brackets and things in tinkercad, I have no idea how you would even start something like this! For example how do you get the measurements of the vive controller to make the holder the right shape? And then what do you use to draw it up?

Thanks again

génial :D

merci beaucoup de votre travail ;)

this model looks great but i have a question.

In a make i see a mountingpoint for the cable that it doesent hang loose in there. Cant find the model to be put in.
Where can i get it?

You can get the inserts from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1443154

génial merci

Just a heads up. I made a mounting jig based on your mounting holes to help me and hopefully others mount these straight. It can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2402256

Made as a remix and mentioned you and link backed to these mounts in my post's description to give you proper credit.

Maybe a silly question, but for the flat-bottomed version, the back-plate detached from my print with nearly no effort. It looks like the little 'prongs' are supposed to insert into the mount itself and there is a gap on each side for them to fit into. Am I missing something? I expected this was all one piece

I had the same trouble - wall mount piece came off easily. There are open cavities inside the body causing this issue. I went back and remixed the original holder with a much more solid wall mount. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3682153

For anyone else having the same issue, I sliced this file using Simplify3d and had the same problem, run the files through cloud.netfabb.com, this will fix it.

Someone else made the flat bottomed version, so I'm not sure. If you post a picture of what happened I can try and help out. The back plate should not separate.

Is there a plug to lock the charging cable?
