Any chance of a new version for X-Wing 2.0?

Not from me, sorry. I got out of X-Wing before they switched over and screwed the people that built the brand. Good luck though!

Loved the print, game out great. new to 2.0 so I didnt notice it was for 1.0. Good work though! :)

Very useful box. But I think that some of the letters are reversed :)

does anyone know the dimensions of this box?

114mm x 105mm x 45mm for the base. Since the lid slides into the base, it may get a couple millimeters taller, but not in any other direction. Hope that helps!

So you could potentialy fit 2 on top of each other in to a medium space of a Stanley organizer with 43mm of space left on the long side?

I'm not 100% sure. I don't have a Stanley organizer to check, sorry.

Found this on Etsy definitely a pretty cool design and layout. The listing where I found it didn't have proper attribution back to you (which resulted in me having to search the internets to find you, and thank you for this :))

It'd be cool if their listing did in fact attribute this properly back to you.

It appears that they are selling the original model that I modified for my upload. I didn't design this, I just made the template slots individual from the wonderful model uploaded by GMBridge here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1329742

I'm surprised anyone would pay that much for this box though. It only costs around $5-6 to make one with pretty dense infill. Still, thanks for pointing this out. I don't personally mind, and not sure what I can do about it anyways, but thanks again for letting me know. Glad you like the model, but you really should thank GMBridge. Cheers!

Xwing TMG Token Holder

Hey ExcessRope,

Any advice on getting this printed for $5-$6? Shapeways quoted me around $100, which doesn't seem right at all. The Etsy place is selling it for $25.

Thisisvictor, unfortunately not. I know it only costs that in actual filament, but if you're paying someone else to print it, they are charging for their time, electricity, effort, and probably profit as well. So, it's up to them what they charge, and up to you what it's worth. I would suggest checking out 3dhubs.com to see if you could get someone local to you to print the part for cheaper though. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply! Just another reason to buy my own printer.

OMG that is crazy and thank for linking back to that, he's actually a friend of mine who I haven't seen since I moved :)

Nicely done. No excesive plastic bits and cool design.

Glad you like it, but all credit should really go to GMBridge for his great original model. I just noticed some folks mentioned the desire for the individual slots (I longed for them from my own printed original too). Thanks!

Will acrylic templates fit in this?

I'm not sure as I don't own any, but I would doubt it. Most of the ones I've seen were significantly thicker than the standard cardboard ones that come with the game. Sorry, you'd have to modify the design again to make sure the slots are thick enough.
