When I first started printing I was using the regular stock bed and after prints sometimes I was scraping glue/plastic off the print bed. During scraping some pieces of plastic would fly off the print bed into the small hole under the print bed getting the underside area a little dirtier than I wanted. To control the mess I created this wire hide cover.
Printed in ABS with 3 shell layers, 7 top and bottom layers. My infill for these parts was 30% and layer height 0.12mm, feel free to change them to your desired amounts.
This cover is made to be installed without removing any of the cable connectors. The plug is press fit into the hole, due to the printer wire hole being cut into the sheet metal you may need to file a very small amount of plastic if your printer sheet metal cut was off by a minor dimension. I printed this multiple times to make sure it was a one print, one fit solution for my printer with no sanding required.
