Great idea, will put this in my bathtub!

My first print on a Printrbot Simple. Worked great!

nice print ! was is on a Reprap?

just posted the video of mine, it was going decently well for my first print, up untill it came off the kapton, still a neat first print, i like how when it prints the teeths it reminds me of like an 8 bit version of that bass line in jaws as someone is about to get attacked.

I printed one of these from the test files on the SD that came with my Replicator dual. It turned out great!

I just can't get this to skin properly! There are large voids in above the eye (looks a little bit like an eyelid), under the lower teeth, and on the fins that show up on both Mr. Jaws, (scaled .81 to fit my platform), and Mr. Jaws2 (which is smaller). Not identical places on Mr. Jaws and Jaws2, but similar behavior.

It would be interesting to figure out what's causing this to help me dial in my settings...

Hey toybuilder!

I think you need to print with 0 shells. Often times when you print with multiple shells Skeinforge does not recognize those small voids and just over looks them. Give that a go and let us know how it turns out!

Will give that a try! Thanks!

Congrats on the feature! I just assumed that this has been featured long ago! Since that time more than a year ago, I've printed many copies of Mr. Jaws to the delight of those receiving him!

Mr.Jawsv2.stl is in inches. It needs to be scaled by 1/25.4 in x, y, and z to get it into mm.

I apologize for that. When I made it I simply imported it into the Mr. Alligator STL and sized it accordingly. I forgot I was on a different machine that started with a different template. I'll update it on the morrow. Thanks!
