How do you see through the mask ?

How much filament do you need? Because i'm thinking about printing it and then use it as a mold for vacuum forming....

Any idea if this will be accurate enough for 501st approval?

Has this been updated?

I'm brand new to 3d printing and I am also a starting cosplayer as well. Does anybody know how tall one must be to fit this armor when printed at 100% scale?

Any progress in the past couple of months? I really want to start working on my own armor.

This looks pretty good thus far. I am wondering though how did you convert the files to a format you can edit as well what are you using to edit the files? I have a couple Pepakura files i would love to convert to something i can print out.

Pekakura Designer 3 allows you to export too and from .OBJ files, which any number of programs will then convert .OBJ straight to .stl ect: 3DBuilder , Design123D

Make the shells as thick as you like 2 - 6
Split the overall design to fit your size printer and use a 400% or more infil. Dremel the sides off that you don't need and scrape the inside out once printed. Glue all together and your done : )

Ill have to give it a try. I have both a Pit Droid and Battle B1 Battle Droid i would like to print off.

Following. Been waiting to print and armor and this one is tje one i want! Hope you get it resolved

Keep me posted on the updates and a size key so I can edit it to fit me. Keep up the great work.

this is Amazing! Ill be looking forward to the finished product!

very thin walls, you can not print properly

I've ran into that on a few of the files. I'm working on it. It's a work in progress.

Well , good luck . I will wait for the update.
great helmet!!

anyone ever made this? i want to see it IRL

Can I ask how you converted pepakura files into 3d files? Normally Pepakura files don't have any depth for printing as they're supposed to be made out of paper... I'm just curious as to how this is done easily to make it printable. That would be a very nice tool.

Been waiting so long for this! I will be attempting this full print on my taz3! still going to have to chop most things into smaller parts but hey! exciting!

Yeah that's what I'll have to do as well. Lemme know how it turns out for you!

so far i have test printed miniatures and the parts are pretty rough :-/. trying to change settings around to see if I can make the prints any smoother.

I think I'm going to need a bigger printer... Nice work.
