Could some wonderful being split up the visor-less versiom for an ender 3? 200 x 200 x 200. 6 pieces would be ideal I think?

Do we need supports for this? also does anyone know where to find a non wearable one preferably filled in i just wanna make it not wear it but when i printed with supports the sides were weak and it kinda broke on me lol

Is there any chance of someone uploading a version of this with the visor as a separate part? I want to print it, then cast it in resin. Or at least have the helmet with no visor.

If no then I guess I'll try it, but if anyone has already done the work then that would make my life way easier.

Hey, just uploaded the visor and helmet separately, good luck with the printing!

Thank you so much!

i know this probably wont happen but can anyone cut this model up into parts that can fit a Qidi Tech I bed? 230 x 150 x 150mm ive been trying for a while and cant seem to get it in meshmixer. its like the cut edges just dont want to mesh back up properly when you cut it making the parts unprintable

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2876167 here you go, this should work

Samus Helmet Remixed for Qidi Tech 1

with 23inch head, do you mean the circumference of the head?
And is there any easy way to do a test print to make sure it fits before printing every part? or do i have to measure my head and then scale the helmet according to original size-->my head and hope for the best?

i just need a bit more time then in a bit i ill print this

how long should this take i have more time to print now

If I had to guess I'd say upwards of 20 hours.

how long would it take to make it normally i only have about 3 to 6 hours of print time at my school?

So I recently printed a Mk. IV Halo helmet and that was 60 hours of print time given the scale and all of the pieces. I used an Ultimaker Replicator 2+. I would think that the print time would be the same, if not more. So take that as you will.

Hi, this is soooo cool! Great work! Is there any way you could post a version split to print on a 7.8in x 7.8in x 7.8in print bed? Also if you're ever inspired to design and post a complete wearable varia suit it would be soooo appreciated! :) Thanks again

Okay now splitting it up is a reasonable request, but asking the designer to make a full on varia suit? Hahaha that'd take him forever. Best advice I can give is to keep searching online or learn mesh maker and design your own (you'd be a hero if you did that)

Of course lol it was wishful thinking. I've been meaning to learn mesh maker so who knows, if I pick it up quickly I'm going to give ithe varia suit a try
