Yeah, the magnets are totally not the budget option. Still cheaper then dwarven forge by about a third, but more expensive then a normal printed tile by about 5x. I'm excited to see another base get published :-)

Glad you like it smiles. Try printing out one, and load 8 pennies in it, and cap it off with your cut stone. Just to feel what I'm feelign now holding it in my hand. Love it. Love the weight. I am going to apply thin rubber sheet to the bottom.. that sheet combined with the mass should provide zero slippage on the table I'm thinking -- i.e. great frictional force.

HOw many grams of weight do the 8 magnets give the tile? I haven't gotten any magnets so I dont' know.

I use the below magnets for a lot of small projects. Get about 300 for just under 15 shipped. I am sure could find a great deal on some that give a bit more weight even (although honestly, the pennies are a great idea).
