Great scan man. Just curious. By what logic should some one respect your Non-Commercial license when liberties are clearly taken with Bill Bryans original design? More precise. What part of the artwork can we consider yours to attach rights to?

Thank you. I do not claim to own the rights. The reason I attach the non-commercial license is to keep people from using it for commercial purposes. People are going to try to sell the model anyways no matter what license I attach to it.

He's a sailor, he's in New York; we get this guy scanned, we won't have any trouble!

I noticed that the file name mentions scanning... What scanner are you using? I'm starting to have an interest in scanning, myself.

I use Autodesk Memento, it's a free program that takes pictures and turns them into 3d. It's not 100% perfect, but it's a powerful tool. Some cleanup is needed sometimes.

That's good to hear. I've got a 20 megapixel camera, and I've read that Memento takes up to 40 images, so I've been scheming about building a turntable and programming it to stop 40 times while I take pictures...

Thanks for the reply!

Actually it takes way more than 40 images, more like 100+ if I am not mistaken. I usually use around 50- 60 images, although you can use more. Make sure your images are very clear and not blurry and well lighted.

wicked, we need more good ghostbuster stuff, god knows that new movie is going to bring the franchise down a tad

Thanks. Yeah, a lot of people are upset that it's an all women cast, but the fact of the matter is, it just looks like a bad movie and not funny. It has nothing to do with gender. Only time will tell. Nothing can touch the original two movies!!!

That "re-imagining" of Ghostbusters was horrible, but the original team is now slated to make a return with Jason Reitman (original director Ivan's son) at the helm for a summer 2020 release.
