Originally, I was looking at the tall corner remix I did, but decided to take a look at making this design parametric since it has a lot of similarities. The downside of this design is you cannot print it on its side like the original design & you have to use long bolts.
Here is what I changed from this design.
- Used copyright of original MPCNC design
- Made it 1 openscad parametric file for all the parts, except for flex foot.

- Outside rounds are consistent width from the 4 vertical holes.
- Added a chamfer to the lengths of the EMT cuts
- Option to drill hole thru center of part to use less plastic
(Not sure this is good idea for the Joiner part, but maybe good idea for Top & bottom Part)
- Located origin at the center bottom of part
- Spacing between pipes of totem design is slightly different from original design.
(I measure the original design as being 27.6, totem design measures 27.73mm)
- I made the US EMT diameter 23.6mm which is what was used in original design

http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1402584 I am really happy with the change I made with the bolt connecting above the belt & belt is inline with the belt travel. It is also easy to attach belt & adjust tension.
I created the STL files using the same heights as the original totem design, so it should match that except for the outside rounding diameter & spacing between the pipes on the joiner part is .13mm different which probably was not noticeable, but was different from original design.
I have also included the openscad file which lets vary a lot of the dimensions. You should be able to make US or IE versions of the parts with the openscad file. I only include STL files for US version. See http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1104847 for info on this totem design.
There are quite a few variables you can change, but the main ones to look at are:
EMT_OD (Diameter of Pipe)
Totem_Type (Type of part to print)
Thk (Thickness of plastic below or above Pipe on top & bottom part,)
The variable to change between the US & IE is:
EMT_OD = 23.6; //Use 25 for IE
The variable to change to print the part you want is:
Totem_Type = -1; //-1 = Assembled
//1 = Totem Top and Bottom Part
//2 = Totem Joiner Part
//3 = Cover
//4 = Spacer Plate
//5 = Belt Tensioner Plate
//6 = Limit Switch Top Plate
The THK variable is the thickness of plastic for the top & bottom plate beneath or above the horizontal EMT.
You also might want to adjust any of the variables with M5 preceding them. These are related to the bolts. Most of the variables should be documented.
