Hello!
i build a MPcnc with 500x500 mm workzone.
I just orded a china 800w spindle with watercooling.
It weight about 2.5 KG , the old one weight about 1 KG
Now i thing that the nema 17 is not strong enough for the z-axis

What do you thing about that ?

will the 65mm spindle mount work with the original mpcnc parts or is there anything else that needs to be changed to make it work with it?

Just ordered a 1.5kw 65mm spindle today , looks like your having good luck with yours

Hi, can you tell me, witch spindle you use? Today i use a Proxxon hand tool, but it seams that it is not the right spindle for my needs.
I heard that there are many spindles witch bad radial runout. Can you tell me, where you ordered your spindle?
Thank you.

Heavy D.... this is what i am looking for
grate work thanks man\

Hi, I am very interested in your build and wondered if you could answer a few questions.

From what I have researched, a few people have successfully built their machines using 1" (25.4mm) tubing, but nowhere has it been explained in detail.

Mainly I am concerned about the Z brackets, middle assembly, and things lining up square. Did you had any fitting issues with the middle assembly and if so, do your thingiverse parts correct it?

I was told you can scale up certain parts like the F rollers and corner brackets, but scaling up the middle assembly would throw things off and not position the Z axis in square.

Also, I am very curious about the
belt system that you are using. What size pulley did you go with and do you have any links with more info about the belt you used? Thank you :)

The middle joiners are on the tinker page. I had to move the holes that mount the bearings out a tad. If you import the original 25mm vs mine u can see what ive done(its hardly perfect, as I still had to clean up wilth a drill). They still are quite tight but, I really am chasing rigid setup for milling and thats good.

I wouldn't bother with scaling, as it will be problematic. Just move/fix the bits that are the problem

The belts are a PU 15HTD3 or 15HDT3 , the 3 is 3mm pitch, 15 is 15mm wide. The belt used I found on ebay, and saw these things used in some laser cutters. I was interested in them was because they had a steal ply layer, and make it very hard to cut. You will need snips or a saw lol. I think its a 16 tooth or 15 atm mounted on the nema 17's, but I am just about to mount a 24 tooth which is huge. But I will be using a double resolution 400 step nema 23, so should be interesting. Will post some pics shortly

My middle joiner's are here but they need to be aligned up properly. Holes moved but not in correct place when assembled I just drilled them to fix this problem. I will fix it them if i need to reprint

Hey shitscared,

Where abouts in OZ did you get the 304? Your set up looks ideal.

I used some cheaper stuff on the side rails (ended up like 24.5mm but better fit on rollers anyway)

Was listed as this
1''/ 25.4 x 1.6mm 304 STAINLESS STEEL 600 GRIT HI POLISHED / MIRROR ROUND TUBE

From this seller but this is 316

I would be interested in the european version (25 mm conduits) of some of your heavy duty parts. Is there any chance you upload 25 mm versions or editable files for this things? It seems a very good job!

Hello, do you have succeed to do IE version in 25mm ? I'am very interested. Merci
