Would it be possible to do something like this for the bottom plate?

Any chance to make this one a bit thicker to compensate some weaknesses of the original part and to make the stock bed a bit
stiffer ?

As requested, I've added:

Standard 5.5mm backplate, 8mm backplate, 10mm backplate
Standard 5.5mm backplate /w cutout, 8mm backplate /w cutout, 10mm backplate /w cutout

How thick are you looking for it to be? I just used the customizer to make a blank, but I could easily increase the thickness if needed.

Thank you, but this is not what i mean ! By just making it thicker, the guides at the botton does not fit the holes on the printbed armplate and the z axis may scrape on the backplate. I have a CTC Printer, my backplate measures 128,30 mm, this model is 124,30 mm.

I thought about making them thicker at the outer sides, plus add in integrated spacers for the backside screws.

That's why I had the standard model. It will probably scrape the back plate or trigger the z-stop. You would like it wider then. Not thicker. 124,30? This model is 124.30. I can increase it to 128.30 if you like. That is a simple change. Thicker at the outer sides? You mean you would like it to have two thick verticals on the left and right of the plate?

But this one is 124,30. By just stretching it to 128,30 the screw holes may be wrong.

CTC Backplate with some support

Have a look. If you want more support, let me know and I will increase the thickness of the supports.

That's only if you don't have constraints. I am using Solidworks, so these are not issues for me. The whole reason I used the creator is that it took 10 seconds to make a blank plate and saved me from the effort of having to model it since someone already had the dimensions... now I am doing all the work I didn't want to do in the first place. :|

If you want me to adjust them to 128.30, I can supply models that of that width without the holes being off. I doubt the level of gains that you can attain by adding all that extra support to the plate, but if you would like me to add additional support, I can do that very simply.
