i'm also searching for a central 40mm fan version

me too. A 40mm Version would be nice. I would use three silent noctua fans to make the whole thing super quiet

i just printed a adapter and used superglue to flue it to the 30mm hole

Do you have an link for the adapter :)? Would be very kind

not sure if it was this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:21112

but there are many more of these

Various fan size conversion adapters

Thank you. I'll test this! But mayber @trustfm will upload a modified version anyway

can you make the middle part accomodate 40mm fan thanks

hi, i just made this, but what is happening is that most of the air is not able to pass the fan ducts and on to the prints, it is being sent the other way outside. i think the fan ducts need to be a little more open near the nozzle so all the air can pass through, it is being reverted back by the inside of the fan duct walls.

This looks like just what I have been waiting for and too lazy to design myself. What size screws would you recommend to attach the fan shrouds to the holder? It appears there are zip tie holes in the back of the holder I assume to allow for tolerances on the size of hotend if people have a clone?

Sorry i missed this info :

Needs 4 screws M3 25mm long
2 fans 40/50mm left/right
1 fan 30 mm central
You might need also a zip tie in order to hold the hole system to the e3d barrel.
