will you be posting a detailed build-setup video for this?

Yes, I'm making build videos and putting them up at HeliPlaneX.com. I'm around 30% complete with videos and a list of parts the plane is built around.

So, are the props are on servos, and tilt when pitching to keep the wing parallel with the ground ( always creating upward lift)?

If so this is a really sexy project!

If it flies I'd be interested to know, when running laps, does the added lift from the wing add significant efficiency?

Yes, the plane should stay level except when rolling side to side from the two front servos vectoring.
Explanation in this video

I think with having a wing, It would work great for long distance course. Something maybe the size of a golf course lane to take advantage of the lift(Just guessing). The next step would be to go FPV then. The center of the heli is two body pieces connected by a bar. We can cut a longer body bar to add more component mounts for FPV, maybe GPS.
I'm thinking maybe poles or trees to go around. What if, coming up on a tight turn, you rolled into the turn and tilted the rotors to heli. After "turning on a dime", roll back out of the turn flat while tilting the rotors forward again.

I'd love to see that sucker fly!
