Hi. Have you seen any part cooling fans, or sensors that work with this carriage? I have been trying to figure it out using fusion 360 to position, but nothing really seems to fit? What are you using? :)

(See my most recent thing. It's not perfect, and on my machine still blows somewhat past the part being printed, so there's definitely room for improvement, but it's something)

Cooling duct for Replicator e3D mount X-Axis carriage

This one almost fits the bill. It's not too hard to modify in blender, if you're handy with that. I have yet to try mounting this carriage (I'm still waiting for some brass bushings I ordered to arrive). When I get around to it and it's not a total disaster, I'll post it as a remix to this thing.

Dual fan cooling duct V5 for Flashforge Creator/Replicator dual

Would mind uploading/sending a link to the piece that secures the belt to the carriage?

My Creator Pro is 70mm C to C but it uses 10mm rod .

i have fitted this carriage and been using it for several weeks now it has improved print quality dramatically so many thanks for that.
there are only two small items i need to sort, first is has anyone designed a part fan for this carriage if so would it be possible to share the file please.
secondly i have not had the need to add material for the end stop switch as the wires come out that side and are cable tied in place to stop them moving so this activates the switch every time guaranteed but i do need to alter the tool offset which is where i am a little stuck.
i know where to adjust tool offset but which way is plus and which way is minus,so the hot end is approximate 25.4 mm to far to the left so do i nee to make it -25.4mm or 25.4mm in order to move it to the right by this amount i am using simplify 3d .
many thanks again for this great design any advice would be gratefully appreciated

Does this work well, do you still use it? what holds the belt into place?

Who do i remove the old carriage?

I juts installed this on my ctc dual and it is possibly the best upgrade i have done to date!!! plz plz make a mout for a layer\extruder cooling fan. right now i have a fan mounted to one of the extruder clap screws and it works great just dont look good. still need to install a layer cooler though. Thanks for the model!!!

I would like to put a greg's extruder on the top of your carriage. This would really open things up. The Direct Drive extruder I find is really a PITA. I have a Greg's Extruder on my Makerfarm and it works flawlessly and never causes an issue. I would like the files to edit if you could share, I would in turn develop one and share with everyone on thingiverse!

Solidworks files would be great. i'd like to adapt the carriage for a Titan for flex filaments.

UPDATED E3D Direct Drive Bracket for Flashforge Creator Pro

Hi Again. With some mods I got the carriage installed and working in the Replicator 2X. I also worked up a blower and duct/nozzle design prototype to add to your carriage. I'm happy to share it if you're interested. (wish I could post a picture in the comments) It's done in SolidWorks, but I can export to a different format if you want. Your screen images look like SolidWorks to me.

Thanks again,

Thats would help, please share.

I have a 2X that I'm trying to use this with and would love if you could share your files.

Another request for the CAD files, if you're willing to share. I printed this for my company's Replicator 2X but due to some slight differences it doesn't work (the 2X uses a continuous belt). I have access to Solidworks, if you can export that format. Great work, I think the carriage is fantastic.

I love your design! Cool thing!
Can u upload the CAD files for it?
Please use .STEP format.
Would like to mount 2 seperate fans (NozzleFan/HotendFan) and optimize airflow from the fans.
Will mount it on a CTC prnter.

do you know if this will fit the first gen replicator?

I'm not 100% clued up on the first gen Replicator, however as the Creator Pro is a clone of this design it should. If the X Axis rails are 8mm in diameter and are spaced by 70mm centre to centre (78mm from the outside of each rail) the carriage will fit. The only thing you would need to consider is adding a piece of material to engage the end stop switch.
