This is a casing for the inside of an already existing pen. The cap screws on to the body.
This project teaches a lot about measuring and making a model that fits the measurements. It also gets you used to a lot of extrusions.
This project does not need too much skill. A beginner to intermediate designer could draw this.
This project was done on Inventor, and to print it, a 3D printer is required. A basic knowledge of Inventor or a similar software is needed.
The pen body is just a tube with threads attached to it on the inside ends and the outside.
The tip is just a cone shape with the inside hollowed out and a hollow cylinder with threads so it can be screwed on.
The end is a cylinder with a rounded top and hollow cylinder with threads so it can be screwed on.
The cap is a hollow cylinder with a rounded end and a threaded inside to screw it onto the body.
You should have a great pen with a screw on cap at the end!
