I swear you're psychic mate.
Thats exactly what I've been talking about today. Building a printer out of 2020/2040 extrusion, or maybe reinforcing my 'i3' with it.
I've been leaning towards a delta, but wondered if there would be too much wobble at the top at high speeds.

Delta's tend to be quickest but involve a whole new learning curve, wobble not really a problem but they can easily be braced.

That was my thinking too, I'll let you know what path I take.
You'll probably know anyway, cos I'm bound to post questions at some point :-)

I have a deltabot to upload soon I built mine about six months back but havent uploaded yet it uses similar bearing system to this except the 3 carriers completely surround the 2020 with bearings on 4 sides.

Ah wow! Thats sounds excellent.
Looking forward to seeing that when you upload it.

Will try and find time over the next week to get it all loaded only the autolevel, extruder etc loaded on their own so far.
Simple print and build but even I struggled with the setup at first its a whole different concept and when it tries to jump out the side repeatedly on setup you have to resist the temptation to open a window,

Well, clearly you've already had all the challenges that I'm likely to face ... who better to go to for guidance. Though I'll try not to pester you too much.
Technology is one thing that I don't get annoyed with, after all, if it don't work right, then I need to try something else.
People on the other hand, often irritate me :-)

Just Found the Delta files so checked and uploaded.

That was quick, thank you. It looks awesome.
Does it use RAMPS 1.4 and Marlin?

Yes ramps 1.4 and either Marlin or repetier have software settings etc to load

Do you have any more pics of it, so that I can use it as a build guide?
Sorry to be such a pest mate.

I will sort out build instruction and add to listing with BOM
