I printed this and the gaps between gears make it useless. Not a good set.

What settings did you use?

60mm max speed, .1mm layer height, Prusa Mk3s with Prusa Silver PLA at 215c. No scaling or adjustments to the stl. Perhaps you can spot what i have missed from attached pictures.

Have you printed a calibration piece? Might have to adjust your stepper values. That's interesting....
I've had the opposite problem, not enough space between the gears.

It also seems to have significant gaps when i look it in slic3r.

Have you tried printing just the outer ring and scaling it down (X-0.99 Y-0.99 Z-1.00)? I have the opposite issue, my gears can be too tight.

Thanks for showing me, I'll sort it out.

Printed quite bit of other things. inlcuding the prusa included prusa gears, spins nicely, but currently it is on my desk at work (used as fidget spinner)

I printed this, but found the spools would not stay on the wheels reliably. It has a nice smooth motion, but keeping the spool stable is job #1. I think a deeper groove in the wheels would fix this problem. In the end, I went back to a central axle. If it ain't broke...

New version out, fixed the wheels!

I haven't updated this in a while. I guess it's time to make those wheel grooves deeper. Thanks!
