Hi Anthony I notice you have gone from the Aus3d IR probe was there a problem with it conpared to the bltouch?

No problem, I would have no hesitation in recommending either. I found them both to be as accurate as each other.

Thanks for that I have recently upgraded to the ir they are certainly way better than the original sensor

The Aus3d IR probe is a good choice, there are no moving parts and it draws a lot less current than the BLTouch.

Awesome, thanks for making this! I just ordered a BLTouch for my Wombot, looking forward to the improved bed-leveling over the stock probe.

(BTW - since it's on my mind, for a totally different-yet-related reason - if you're printing in a lot of high-temp filaments, ABS specifically but I'm assuming others as well, Aurimas suggests that you print the carriage in ABS; PLA Wombot carriages sometimes "sag" over time if you're using ABS a lot, as happened to me and apparently some other customers. I think he got the word out to people who had a pre-January Wombot, as that's when he switched to always printing the carriage in ABS I guess, but figured I'd post it here so anyone upgrading to this sensor/reprinting their carriage body knows about the potential issue. Cheers!)

Good point, Thanks for highlighting this potential issue to anyone that is considering printing ABS.

No prob - this issue bit me in the butt, but I was able to get an ABS model print before it was too late. Just hoping to save my fellow Womboteers the pain and time. :)
