Is this you: https://pinshape.com/items/43448-3d-printed-3d-printed-shifter-simracing or is somebody selling your design for pennies on there?

Yes, i already reported it, and commented, which disappeared... but tbh idgaf, he wouldnt make much

Can u help me I want to make this design for ps3 but I’m not very good at electronics

how does this interface with pc and subsequently with games? Can you make a custom profile for gearbox or is there any standard? I never used racing wheel before, only game pads.

I personally have it hooked up to an Arduino pro micro wich the computer will see as a normal gamepad, so it is really easy to hook into most games. If you need to I can send a link to my Arduino program if you can't figure it out yourself.

I'm currently using my 32u4 as discord mute indicator (https://github.com/Oxmaster/Discord-mute-indicator), I've bought some used pedals that I intend to use with this and emulate xbox 360 gamepad, so I can use the pedals for different functions with a dip switch, but I didn't have time to program it yet.

I'm just curious what library do you use.

I use this library https://github.com/MHeironimus/ArduinoJoystickLibrary but you need an Arduino pro micro for it to work. No other Arduino works with this plugin.

Hello this is awsome but I have a quastion. What is this m8 rods diameters.

m8 means that they have a diameter of 8 mm

Are there any shifter boots that work with this design?

Comments deleted.

Erm.. yes :D its a silly little try to clamp the thing to the table. No success.
I plan to remodel the whole thing in rhino, and design something useable for clamping..
Feel free to bolt it straight to the table with 2pcs of M8 screw :)

do you have a fixed version of the lower_ring? S3D is giving some errors with it.
Or do you maby have the original design file?
Realy like the project!

I like it so much! I saw the modifications who ZHFX make to this project too and that is fantastic. But how he made to have switch to change between H and sequential? Thank you very much for this useful project.

Please help me !
I made all the components but the "Center" I don't know how print it. Because the up side (in the air) go down. How I print?
Sorry I'm starter...

Can you or someone please check and re upload Center.STL file because the item comes out in a smaller size. Also can you please provide some information how to print this part right? Do i need to make some supports? I found little difficult to print this part... Thank you for the great job!

Do you have a wiring diagram for it

Hi, firstly well done on a great project, I’m looking to build this myself, it’s fantastic :) what do I do to get the files, I’ve basically just joined this site to post this comment so I’m verry new here :) I’ve got a racing YouTube channel and I’m goong to vlog the build there so will link back here etc, thanks, Jay

Thank you! Really glad people actually building this shifter :D Since its done in 3ds max, all you got is the meshes i uploaded here. Post a link to your channel, i'll def. check it out!

That's good enough I'm sure I can convert it and send it off to print somewhere, looking at getting it made out of metal actually at a local 3d metal work/printers. I'm guessing its to scale in 3DS format?, I can't wait to get started, I may reconfigure it to include a "press down and go to 1st gear for reverse" somehow! but will probably make your version first, thank you so much for this :) now i dont have to make it from wood haha

what dimensions of the screws you used?
and what size of the springs you used?
and the length of the M8 threaded rod?

Can You provide the distance between upper and lower frame?

Can you make a video about parts (sorry for my bad english).

I dont have it at home, but there is the assembled model in stl. Everything is visible there

I was curious if you could modify the shifter to add another leg? so we can have a 7 speed? i figured i could modify the bracket that holds the switches easily enough to change to these. https://shop.xgaming.com/products/100-pack-microswitches but itd likely be much quicker for you to add the other branch than i could.

Hi. What spring did you use?

I print a file, but size does not fit
Can you send me the files until the correct size?

Hi! I'd be glad to. Which part doesnt fit?

Upper Frame part of the small printed

assembled it with no problems as you can see in the video it works also. Can you make a photo and upload it to some image hosting site? Also please notice its nowhere near complete :) I made some new parts to hold the microswitches. I'll upload them.

Looks very cool!
But what is it?
I mean what does it do?

It's a shifter mechanism for games. See the video i included using it :)

Oh my apologies. I missed the video in the instructions. Awesome project!

Sorry it broke but maybe it's not a design flaw. It looks like your junking at it very hard :-D

It needs to stand the heat ;) I'll update the switch holder part. I'll dump the pins and use 2mm screws instead
