I've tried this out and it works great. Several of my remotes have a tapered end (bottom
of the remote). Do you have any suggestions on how this could be modified to accomodate
such remotes?

Send me a picture (with dimensions) and I will see what I can do.

I try to make it for a controller that is 10mm thick and 35mm wide, but when i do that in scad it creates a thin wall where the cutout for the buttons should be. I also noticed that there are no settings for how big the actual controller is, just the outside dimensions of the holder.
Guess i should calculate the inside with the walthickness included?

Well i can't continue now.. Printer broke down right when i was in middle of print :(

Yes, set:

KT=10; // Remote Control Thickness
BW=39; // Box Width - 35mm + 2 * wall width (2) = 39

for a 10mm x 39mm device.

How to get rid of the triangular extrusion in the front?
tried to comment the "module triangle" but it did not help. I also get a thin front i can't get rid of.
I have a thin controller 10mm.

I have now added a variable AddTrianges which is by default 1.
Set it to 0 to remove the Triangles.
I'm afraid "I also get a thin front I can't get rid of" doesn't tell me anything.
What settings are you using for the variables.
P.S. You can now use the MakerBot Customizer application.

cheers, made a modified version to hold a smartphone for a buddy. removed the triangles though..
