These are the Frame-Parts for a fully working laserplotter.
You need several parts to complete the machine:
- 2x Nema17 Steppers
- 2 stepper drivers
- 2x Belts
- 4x matching toothwheels
- ~16x16cm tile of alloy or something similar
- arduino uno
- 9V power supply
- 8x LMU8 linear bearings
- 8mm rods
- M8 threated rods
- laserdiode (uv for engraving, red for cutting)
- safety glasses
- some wires
- buttons for the endstops
Firmware for the arduino is GRBL - to convert graphics into g-code, you can use inkscape with one of the laser-engraver-plugins.
To get this thing to work, you have to read a lot about configuring GRBL.
