USB Charging Station Pictures
The pictured USB Charging Station has been printed in Proto-Pasta Coffee PLA which has been wonderful to work with. Silky smooth extrusion in a rich brown color and an added bonus is it smells like brewing coffee while printing.
The USB Charging Station Printed Components
The USB Charging Station has three separate printed components. The first component is the base "USB Charging Station A.stl" which has a breakout piece for the USB connections. platform area for rubber feet and a hole for the charging cable to pass through. The second component "USB Charging Station B.stl" is the top to be secured to the base, I used super glue and clamps to secure the two pieces together. Because of the large flat surface on part B be cautious of warping. I would recommend cooling completely before removing from build platform. The third component is optional and is the Bluetooth headset hanger which is attached with double-sided tape and can be placed anywhere along the back. I chose the center.
I hope you enjoy the build and let me know if you have any questions.
