Can I ask what program you used to design these? Or if you have any suggestions for beginners in 3D design? Really want to try out some similar things for myself (a little easier and less detailed to begin with though^^)

I'm using 3Ds Max, there really is no easy way to 3d modelling. To get into it you can use Sketchup but I recommend starting with simple blocky things like buildings and stuff.

to make variety of these i scaled them umporprtionally and it gives a cool affect of a tall knight or a stubby dwarf

These are the coolest things ever!

Hmm.. would make a cool chess set

How did you design this? In other words, what programs did you use?

I can`t print swordman with Slic3r
so i use makepritable.com to repair the swordman.stl
If who want to print with Slic3r, please use this file

Thanks for this - I had the same problem!

I want to make these out of paper. Do you have a true low poly file? The download has thousands of faces and points.

Its SO addicting to make these, I have 8 of each in different colors!

These look amazing in transparent filament!

These are awesome! My printer can't manage the Pocket Tactics minis yet, but has no problem with their hexagon pieces. I'm going to be printing all of your characters and use them as stand-ins for the Pocket-tactics characters.

These are awesome! Show what talented people can do even with low poly. Are you planning to do more like these? I know there are two other sets, but what about a mage, a barbarian, a bard, a rogue, ...

Great work man!! May I ask which software you use for making those figures? I was thinking about making some figs in low poly as well

I really appreciate models that don't require support structure. Always get a cleaner print. Thank you!

I printed out a bunch of the bad guys with no problems, Slic3r does not like the Knight file. I look forward to seeing more of these.
Thank you.

Awesome print! all 3 printed without any problems for me on FlashForge Creator using supports just in case but i think would be fine even without supports tbh
Turned out amazingly, well done and thanks for the models to print!

swords man glitches and doesnt work in slic3r.

I've printed all six of them, and they are great.

I'm looking forward to the next set of them!!!

Keep up the great work!!

You could easily use these for say, dungeons and dragons. I don't play that game, so don't think i'm a nerd.

how did u get them to look like that

Cannot open these at all. I use simplify 3d.
When I open the files it tells me they are extremely small do I want to scale inches for millimetres?
Nothing I do makes them appear. Even selecting all then scaling to max size!
Whats going on??

Maybe your download got corrupted. As you can see in the Thingiverse files preview images it has a correct size as the grid matches it right.

It seems that in the Swordsman model, the hilt has a spot that attempts to print in mid air.

Yea, I somehow had updated it with a old version, it is now the right improved one with the same sword as you can see in the render image. That printing in mid air worked surprisingly well though as you can see in the pictures of the makes.

Parabéns Davision 3D ! Muito legal !

Not to be a stickler for details but it looks like your running your filament 5-10°C too hot.

thanks for posting, these will look great printed in ABS and fumed with acetone!

please make more "classes"! :)

is that a loony there for size comparason?

That is a Linkling for size comparison: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:679849

omg please make more soo cool used knights for moc castle

Might make a cool chess set.

These are great. I have loved them so much and they are so quick and easy to print, that they are now my test print for new filament. My desk at work looks like a dungeon crawl! Keep them coming!

Hello, quite cool, I am hiving problems with the mesh in the Archer, already try to use netfabb. could you checkthe mesh.

Updated them all now, 3Ds max stl check says 0 errors now. My printer never cares about such small errors so I tend to miss those.

S U P E R C O O L ! ! !

Hey nice designs, the low poly is great!

I hope you make more of these!

Oh man I love this so much!

Very cool. Any chance of same figures but slightly different poses in the future?

The problem with that is that it is very tricky to make poses that can be printed without support. So there will be no more poses but more other figures.

I like the idea of other figures ... you have actually inspired me to take some of my 3D models and convert them to Low Poly ... 8-}

awesome, perfect for detail figurine painting practice!

Any chance you could make the models manifold please?

Done, check out the remix.

These look fantastic. I fancy making a version with interchangeable arms/heads for more flexibility!

reply to me if you do!
