Just got done printing mine. I am right in seeing it shouldn't be perfectly round and should have minor ribs ever centimeter or so right?

Ribs? Do you mean the polygons/facets of the round part? Do you maybe have a picture?

Not sure how well it shows but yea I'm thinking it's the polygons showing through the roundness of the body. Looking at other people's Makes of it it looks like others are the same.

Yes that's it, the base model I remixed here had these facets already. It's the resolution that is used when exporting an STL model, CAD models have perfect circles but STL files have a degree of resolution and circles are basically a number of connected lines.

So your printer is working well :-)

You can see it also in the preview:

how do you release the money?

The old fashion way: if you really need/want the money you will have to ''break the bank''.. So it could be an incentive to keep saving money :-)

How big did you make this?

True size of the STL file.

Nice. Just got done printing mine which took 36 hours. Its about 9 1/2 inches from nose to tail.

Nice, are you going to post a picture :-)

making this for my 4yr old she loves it.

I just tried to print this. The overhang is tremendous in the bottom so I get lots of warping and no good result. Any tricks on how to get this right? I am using PLA

I don't know how much extra cooling (fan) you have but with PLA: the more the better. When I print with PLA I always have an extra desktop fan blowing on the model so it cools and hardens faster.

Easily the best model I've printed out (maybe on par with the Utah Teapot). We're going to use this for a charity project, so will be sure to credit you :)

Okay, cool! Good luck with the charity.

Very nice model, I love the tongue :)
A shame it's not in 2 parts to be able get the money inside without having to break it apart..

It would be awesome to have a pig with 4 compartments. To teach kids how to Save, Invest, Give, and Spend the money they earn.
