The file named "my_new_body_part_top" don't work with any software....
Can you check the file?

i checked the filein simplfy 3d,, repeatier,, mesh-mixer.. and rhino,, worked fine in all of them,, so i think it is fine:D

The my_new_body_part_top.STL file wont open in any slicing software I have. I tried Cura, MatterControl, and MeshMixer. Can you please re-upload the file. I'm almost done printing everything else and really want the top part. Thank you

Yeah, it says the top stl is empty when I try to slice it too.

i checked it it works fine ,, in rhino,, simpfy3d, repeatrier,, meshmixer ... so i think it is fine,, :D

The new top part is corrupted. everything else loads and prints just fine, but the new top is unreadable by makerbot.

dont use makerbot,, :D use something else..

I would, but the printer im using runs off of maker bot.
So I tried it in Autodesk Inventor, and that didnt work either. I just found the picture, and remade it.

well your the only person among hundreds that have printed it :D good luck

Printed pretty darn good on the Dremel. cross guard pegs had some hangers and the Knights of Ren pummel doesn't align perfectly (barely noticeable unless you really look at it). I'm glad to have this piece, thank you again.

your welcome,, i tried my best to get it right,, the pummel is just the base of the original saber just flipped and clipped and the logo added.. :D

thanks for the input and feedback, i will will do better next time,, the new tips are way cooler thou yeah :D

i remixing a rwby sword now so it has ammo insert and extraction port and slimmed it down and added pointed tip, and shortened the cylinder to match better the anime.. i will try harder to be more exact.. thanks

I was working on printing these parts, finding them better aesthetically over the original, but when I got to the main emitter something in the file caused my printer to start pushing the print head against the far side, grinding it against its own stopping point. I couldnt figure out the issue in netfabb, but when I looked at the part again in Slic3rs preview their was some random geometry spawned near the top where the print had gone bad. Due to this and some other events shortly after I had to scrap all the parts I had done and start over again with the old files, just bringing it to your attention because you might be able to fix what I cant.

ok file is reloaded and i checked for errors none found and seen,, but the new file is in place :D
thanks again..

i will re upload the file,, i printed it fine from the same files i uploaded maybe a crc error in the process made an error,, thanks fro bring any issue to my attention,, .. i will change it out right away..
