The Spinner Fidget was created with empathy in mind in order to create a tool that students, or anyone for that matter, can use to relief simple everyday stresses that everyone relates to. (Too much work, anger management, etc.) Everyone has stress, no one can deny that, it may not be as bad as someone else's, but it is there. And someone has to deal with it, mainly you. The question is how to deal with it.
Spinner Fidgets were made as a way to combat stress in a discreet and effective way, be-it a board meeting, and you're simply trying to keep yourself occupied and awake. Or in a class, during a test and you need to relieve the stress of the workload. Fidgets are simply a way of coping with everyday issues.
Stress Relievers are in high demand in today's society, whether you work a high end job, and the amount of work is stacking up day by day, or you work a blue collar job just trying to make ends meet. Or even a student just trying to make it through school to get a good paying job to make ends meet.

As a project, learning about the D.E.E.P. Process of designing, and we had to design Fidgets!
Discovery (What is the problem you are trying to solve?)
Empathy (Find out what people want in a solution to the problem)
Experiment (Try out different solutions to the problem)
Production (Finalize a solution and receive feedback)
As we went along the process, we came up with many different prototypes and designs. After finally settling on the spinner fidget and finishing the project, I was the only one who wanted to continue with it. The teacher helped me move forward and decide where to go. Its been a long two years, but we've come a long way. I'm proud of our progress, but I want to go further.
To help students focus in class and relieve stress in a non-distracting, constructive way
The audience is students of all ages any kid that can understand stress will want to at least experience the fidgets
We started with many different designs, soon narrowing it down to 3, which was then narrowed down to one, all designs were made on Tinkercad and were made by students, for students.
All we did was design the Fidget on tinkercad, print it, test it in the field and recieve feedback to make the design better.
Students we collected data on using it were more focused in class, less stressed while in school, and over-all happier with school.
