Great idea and realization!
Just a warning regards bending the cable, for lwl, hdmi, network(CAT5,6,7) and koax cables there's a minimum bending radius for those type of cables!
Pls consider this when laying out the cables.

I needed to be able to mount this - I have cable running under a kitchen cupboard, and dropping vertical in a tiled corner (so there is only one plane available for fixing). I made a part to clip in as a cover, and extruded it to include a couple of fixing holes. See my make for photos - very effective.

Will this damage the cables?

It shouldn't... yes it does kink them but there is still a slight curve. I haven't had any issues to date and lots of people are using them with no reports of problems...

Great idea! I'll be printing some of these for my cable routing in my computer room. Warning though: Please don't push coaxial cables into these, by doing so you hard 90* kink the cable and it will change the 75 ohm impedance of the cable that will affect the signal. I'm a installer for a major Cable company and the coaxial cables require a certain minimum bend radius.

Perhaps a silly question, but what keeps this whole thing in the corner or against the wall? Does it just rely on wires not having too much force pulling it out?

Once the cables are kinked and held in place they settle in that shape. Regardless of this, as soon as the cables are inserted securely the kinks pressure to straighten is all but neutralized because it has been isolated and / or any remaining pressure is offset against each other.

When I designed this a key criteria was that it wouldn't need to be fixed in place at all... so no screws or adhesives... just place and go....

Rest assured they work pretty well.... loads of people have printed them with positive feedback. Just follow the instructions provided

you should shrink it to the right size for speaker wire. :)

Stick your speaker wire on the bottom and then 1 or 2 thicker/normal wire on top. It will hold it in place.

You can... just uniformly scale it down to suit. Should print fine. It's made to take most power cords (approx. 7mm) but, depending on the manufacturer the outer diameter can vary by 0.5mm or more. I expect the same will apply to speaker cable so you are best to scale it down to suit yours. And, the smaller it gets in diameter the smaller range of what will / won't work becomes. Just calculate out the percentage reduction required from 7mm OD to your speaker cable OD and give it a go.... it may take a couple of tries to get it spot on but should work fine...

I was wondering the same as i have speaker wire going around, but the issue of just scaling it down is that it will also scale down the length of the total thing, and it might not stay in place a well as it is supposed to.

You can scale this down a bit (75%) but some machines will start having issues printing it if you go too small not to mention not being strong enough. The best way is to run speaker cables through first at the lowest level and power cables above them to hold them in. As speaker cables are quite a bit thinner you ill probably get two in one power cable hole..
