first attempt: i reduced the size to 75%, 33.3% fill, 0.1mm, and 4 shells, no support. while no supports were needed and the print was clean, i was still disappointed; one leg cracked at the ankle.
Second attempt: full size with 7 shells, 50% fill, 0.1mm, no supports. MUCH better result. still no supports needed resulting in a cleaner print, much more sturdy, and i'm quite happy with it. both prints used Metallic Color Gradient Filament from CC3D, on a Makerbot Replicator+.

I've only been 3d printing for maybe 5 months now. So far the filaments I've tried are Wanhao PLA, Rigid.Ink PLA, ProtoParadigm Adv Ingeo PLA, FlashForge PLA, Filabot PETG+, eSun PLA PRO (PLA+), Beaver Silk, Atomicfilament.com PLA, FormFutura EasyWood and Algix Dura. So far of that list Algix Dura is my absolute favorite. Its non-toxic, easy to print, and durable.

Thanks for letting us know how much you love our DURA filament! Email us at 3dsales@algix.com and we'd love to talk about your experience!
