Hi divreig!
I've finished this project a longer time ago, but I can send you the file on a private email, if you wish that. Maybe you have a disposable email?

Hi thanks for this it looks really cool! Cant wait to print it. Any chance you can upload the sketch up file? I would like to customize a few gears.

thanks. !!

Unfortunately - after printing the plate - I have had 50% success with the gears.

All of them Slicer3 says has issues (but won't offer to repair them strangely), and some that do print have the stud missing or have a top and bottom singe layer..(?).

real shame for me, wanted these to drive something by hand. :-(

I too just ran into a similar problem. For example, on Gear_18mm_15_teeth_winder, slic3r put a hollow cylinder under the stud. Model looked fine when imported. Only when sliced did the problem appear. It looks like adding a 6mm diameter by 10mm high cylinder at the center of the model will repair the issue, at least on this particular gear. (To do this, double click the model, select "load generic", enter the parameters for a 6mm x 10mm cylinder, then change the type of the cylinder you just created from "modifier" to "part", and reslice).

Examining the slicing preview in slic3r for all gears, and fixing as necessary seems prudent.

I have issue with SketchUp too. Just open the files with Microsoft 3d builder, it will fix any problems automatically. It comes preinstalled with windows 10 .

Hello!
Sorry for the inconvenience.
The gears are created with sketchup and I tested all figures with Cleanup and Solid Inspector;
I use Cura and there are no problems.
The count of layers must be entered in your slicer, may be you have some features, that are misaligned.
The studs are essential for the gears, that's really annoying.
Is it possible for you to use an other slicer for testing?
Tell me, if it works...

Hi Dugi,
thanks for the response - I may have to start trying Cura or similar, as Slic3r has issues with other prints too...

Don't apologise - I understand the time you put in to make things like this available to others - it was just feedback..

I have a couple of other projects going on at the moment - but may revisit this in the future.

Thanks again

Hi.
It would be great if this gears be coustomizable.

Hello!
This would be a nice idea, but currently I've unfortunately other private projects to handle first, sorry :(

Cool toy. Any thought to creating a gear with a handle for spinning?

I will think about it and add it to the files.
