This isn't Schlage. I printed the model with less than a mm of error on length and width, and it is way off.

I don't know what you want me to tell you, it was based off a Schlage key decoder. The measurements on this tool is rough, I know, but it's able to tell you the code of the key just fine.

the 9 spot was dead on, 8 less so, 7, less so, etc.
a 3 was reading as a 0 and a 4 was reading as a 1. I got it all figured out, but just mentioning it.
This is where I got the working values http://web.archive.org/web/20050217020917fw_/http://dlaco.com/spacing/tips.htm

3 reading as a 0 makes no sense whatsoever. 0 is a key without a cut and 3 on any key should be a decently deep cut.

That's what I thought when seeing the real values and measuring the uncut portion as 0 with calipers. I just threw the model in 3D Builder (Win 10 thing) and it thinks the 0 slot is a 0.3196in gap. Same gap for big letter version. So theoretically I should be getting a 0 for a 1 cut. Just did a measurement with a 3D printed copy of my key and like I said, the deeper the cut, the more accurate this tool is.

P.S. I didn't see my raised numbers come out but I blamed it on my clear material (I realize you have a big letter version available). Some of the numbers are deformed but I rubbed a sharpie on them and you can mostly tell. I think it all has to do with what slicer people are using (and slicer settings) that makes the letters print or not.

i can't get it to print the numbers. what setting did you use?

I was using 20% infill, it seems a lot of people are having problems with the thing writing, I'll be making another model soon with larger letters so if you wait a couple days the model should be posted soon.

Ok its uploaded, sorry that It took so long

Bummer. I guess Kwikset uses a slightly different scale. See here: http://tinyurl.com/znt8j22

Worked much better! Thanks.

I'll give it a shot. Thanks. I tried something I made yesterday with text like this, and it didn't work, either. It may not just be your model. Trying now.
