Froster, another attempt

Further complicating matters is the tapering of the bag, so that the squeezer has to move faster as it moves down the bag if a consistent flow of frosting is required. An untapered bag would eliminate this complication.

I remember, as a child, seeing empty transparent tubes, similar to toothpaste tubes, for sale at a camping supply store.

The MakerBot guys have done several variations using a syringe. My goal is to be able to do it with a bag that can be just dropped in...though I agree that using a bag probably exacerbates the issue.

How about a cylinder designed to accept the bag and nozzle!

Could be the bag is expanding and messing with your precision. Maybe a syringe or some other cylinder
&
amp; piston design would work better. should be printable too...

Also, I may try to couple this with the tube squeezer that was posted recently.

Ha! Good question. The next step is to really use it...as in make some designs and print them. Printing with frosting is kind of tricky because it seems the frosting compresses quite a bit so it is hard to turn the flow on and off...will post the output once I have it :)

Do you have any pictures of the result? I am interested.
