Could not find anything online that matched what I wanted. Needed something stable for folders with lots of info, needed it tiered so you can clearly read the labels on every folder in the different areas so I made my first item.
A little rough around the edges, I need to clean up a few of the joins on the objects as it didn't print perfect but it printed no problem. I even left it printing when I went to work and it finished fine!
Could be scaled up 1.3 times if you need it slightly larger, I intend to print another with those settings and higher infill. You will see I have two designs of the same object.
v.2 - small angled support for first tier
v.3 - generic cut out for order based management
v.4 - Added 2 inches to height on most tiers, this helps thinner folders stay up right, expanded each tier by .4" in Y-axis so 2-3 folders can comfortably fit in each tier (more if they have few pages) Added angles to columns to help the folders lean. Added angled support to bottom tier as it could easily be pushed on accident causing breakage
v.4-5 - Added generic cut outs for order based management (working on customization version)
Used 20% on the one I made, could probably use 50% but feels sturdy enough.
V2 and V3 - Same settings
V4 & V4.5 - Height changed from 5" to 7", width 5" to 6.7", accommodates more folders easier but requires a decent size print bed.
First print, lowest tier is a little flimsy, need a small corner bit to stabilize it.
