Toolson, looking at your wiring harness and im very interested. you do that your self or was the harness purchased. reason I ask is im looking at putting together a p3steel and def in the market for that harness, maybe a pair of them.

The harness is DIY.

interested in making a few $$$? btw I do appreciate the quick response.

def not.

Try it yourself. Its easy to create a nice looking harness, but its not done in 5 Minutes.

Thanks for the project. It works fine.
I will also add the fan guards.

whats your board? please send me a link to where I can purchase it from

RAMPS.

Check ebay, amazon or any other printer shop. It is the most common board ever.

But yours is kinda blue and black like an arduino and in the web I only see ramps 1.4 whichc is red

I spend some time to find a black one ;)

Its a RAMPS from SainSmart. I don't know if they are still available.

Fantastic design! I'll be printing one very soon.

But more importantly, I LOVE what you've done with your screw terminals. I've already fried one arduino because of an errant strand on my heater terminals.
Can you detail what you've done to make everything so clean? Or perhaps post a link to a tutorial for that kind of wire termination?

Thanks!

Perfect electrical wiring!

I really like how you minimized plastic and print time by just connecting the two fan edges together in the middle. Very clever idea.

Ouch, I have tried to order my wires like you but mission failed.

Can you post more pictures? I love your printer mods
