What size of screw you used? M3, right, but with which length?

This is genius. I've been trying to think of a better way to tension my y-axis, this is perfect! Thanks for sharing

Works very nicely. Thank you for sharing!

Your y-axis tensioner and idler are much, much better than the parts which came with my printer kit.

Thank you for making them!

Hi Toolson,

Great desings! I'm planning a rebuild of my P3Steel, combined with the upgrade to a P3Steel XL.

For me, the LM8UU bearings are fine. Can I use the Y tensioner and pulley combined with the original bearings, or are they designed for the IGUS bearings?

You can use parts. They will fit.

How are the belts being held in the slots? they just seem to be pushed in there in the pictures.

Push the belt loop through the slot. After that push something (in my case, a piece of a zip tie) trough and then tighten the belt.
You can nearly everything this use this belt lock.
If you look really closely to the picture you can see the piece of the zip tie.
It's really simple and works fine.
