This is incredible! It's designed so well.

How does it snap shut so perfectly? I see a chamfer on the posts, but nothing in the holes....

It's a neat tool, but designed so darn well. Well done, sir!

Glad you like the design. There's nothing specific holding it shut - just friction. The trick to designing stuff like this is getting the clearances just right so that you get the right feel between the moving parts (spinning freely, light friction, snap fit, etc.) . I probably did 5 or 6 versions of this just making fine adjustments to the clearances.

Do you use 0% infill for razor compartments?

The razor storage compartments are already hollow and are unaffected by the % infill.

Wow fantastic design with perfect tolerances! Very useful, and quick to print.

Hey I made one of this and it is definitely the most useful print I have ever done. I cut a lot of foam with it. My only question was what infill density you used, as i had to pry mine apart with 2 chisels to get the blade holder seated.

I'm glad you find it useful - it's one of the most useful things I've designed. Yes, the blade holder snap fit is pretty tight. I think I just used my usual 20% infill and 3 perimeters. Inserting the blade holder from the side there the pivot boss is tapered helps get it wedged into place.
