hey, very nice support. I need a little help with dimensions.
What are the dimensions for magsafe 60W?
I want to make a present for someone and I don't know dimensions.

I don't have one myself, but this person on the Apple support forums says 74×74×29 mm: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3771585?start=0&tstart=0

I found a 60W adapter and the correct length is 74.1mm.
You can update the product description too. :)

how long about does it take to print ?

About an hour. (Exact time will vary by adapter dimensions and printer settings.)

If this was officially designed by Apple and made of really sleek looking aluminum I would want it. As it is, it would just make me look like a homeless fandroid. ; )

Hi thanks,
but what's a scad file?
please cannot you provide a stl file?

OpenSCAD is what I used to design this; it's modeling software. The .scad file is the source code to this thing.

I left out the STL file because power adapter sizes vary, and I don't want people to just print the supplied STL file and then find out it won't fit.

So, you'll need to use the Customizer. Use the “Open in Customizer” button above. If you have an 85 W Apple MagSafe adapter, simply don't change anything, and your customized version will be correct. ☺

There are also a bunch of people who have already done this, and at least a couple of them mentioned which adapter they customized it for.

Printed one for my daughter. measured 28,3 x 64.8 witch i put into scad file then printed. came out perfect :-)
Thanks. keep it up

Is that for a MagSafe2 45W? I need to print one but don't have the actual adapter handy.
