The vertex coordinates of the snub cube and its dual the pentagonal icositetrahedron are derived from the tribonacci constant. Here is a composite of the two polyhedra, a bowl, and a container, all made using both sets of vertex coordinates. Comments in the OpenSCAD program discuss the relationship between the tribonacci constant and the vertex coordinates. It's similar to the relationship between the dodecahedron, its dual the icosihedron, and the golden ratio.
Prints of the stl files shown in the above image were done on a Replicator at a scale of 75% using 0.3 mm layers. The lid and composite need support. Support for the lid is limited to the rim if the support angle is set to 75 degrees.
