- Using a hand-me-down MakerBot Replicator 2X
- I have a collection showing the current modifications I have in place.
- To make it work as best as possible, I am running my own build of the latest Sailfish firmware on it, however! My changes are here: https://github.com/rpavlik/Sailfish-MightyBoardFirmware - some simple build system changes to make it easier to build on Windows (with the toolchain that comes with Atmel Studio 7), as well as updated SD card library (I did a bit of git magic, with a lot of rebasing and merge conflict resolution, to hopefully seamlessly combine the changes from the upstream SD card library used with the changes made in Sailfish itself)
- Software Tools:
- I've used more tools in the past (for general 3D purposes, etc) than I've listed in the rest of the bio - but the ones I've listed are the ones I've used for designing essentially "CNC"-like physical objects.
My Favorites: A mix of the items that I've designed that I'm able to share (things for personal, rather than work, use, typically) and prints of other peoples' designs that turned out particularly nice.
