hmm, I think I may have accidentally decreased the wall thickness when I bodged the 2x 40mm fan mounts into your model. I'll probably re-print this after adding a little bit more thickness.
Creality Ender 5
Hello, I saw someone from reddit getting the same kind of strange artifacts. I'm not at home to try to reproduce it, but I would guess it happen on some very thin sections.
I'm using Simplify3d, so on these section, the software automatically decrease width of extrusion. It could maybe be the result of the slicing software decreasing the number of walls. You can verify this by checking a cut located on these section to see if there is less walls.
To manage this, you will have to increase thickness of the model, or reduscing extrusion with, 0,30 mm for example.
Have a nice day
Thanks for the heads up!
This is actually my second print of your model. I had to disable "detect thin walls" (Slic3r's equivalent to the Simplify3D option that collapses extrusion lines to preserve detail). The print was a lot worse with that option enabled.
I think this may just be an issue with Slic3r & your model. Increasing the thickness so the thinnest part is 2mm thick should fix this issue for me.
