I decided to make this as I wanted a accurate cutting tool to square off ends. The small cutoff size of 20cm or so suited me fine.
Though, using the Dremel itself made using it a little 'awkward' - due to the size and weight of the Dremel. I also made a 'wooden box mount' as I wanted to add a little weight for stability.
So - I tried to used the 'flex mount'. But this failed as when trying to screw the flex-drive to the mount, the pressure of the thread 'jammed' the mechanism - which caused overheating. The cure was to remix the original mount so that the flex-drive could fit without screwing it in - and by reversing the Dremel supplied collett, it 'self-centred'. Also the supplied flex-mount is too thin and tends to flex.
Been using this for a while - it works better than I expected. I can supply the STL for the new flex mount (10mm only) if required.
