He is taking over!!!
I love the new Toy :D
Thank you for creating this!!!
0,4; Nozzle 0,8mm, 2 Walls
Glad you enjoyed the print! Did the knees come out a little droopy with the 0.8mm nozzle?
No, overhangs are no problem with the 0,8mm nozzle, and the settings I've used. The first top layer (from inside) looks over greater distance really good. I tried it in a different project with the same printer.
I didnt wrote it in the description, but the version I've printed is the separated body and tail, so I was a bit worried, if the connection works, or if I can click it together, but that was no problem too. The size of my raptor is scaled to 250% or 280%, I'm not sure anymore. I used the whole heatbed for the print, that is definitely what I can say :D
The main Problem I've noticed while using that nozzle, is remaining filament on infill or walls, that causes some trouble with layer shifting. I will post some stuff about that in near future, from another "greater" print. I think I can solve this with different settings :-)
Thanks for the information! I have tried a 0.6mm and 0.8mm nozzle and had good luck with the 0.6mm. I assumed you had printed the 2-part model since the scale was quite large; using the entire build plate I think I printed that around 275% and it turned out well - really a good application for the larger 0.8mm nozzle. To connect the link I found that rotating the parts as you are sliding them together works best.
No problem :-)
I agree with you, in relation to the connection.
