My version isn't 100% flawless by any means but it came out pretty well. I scaled it to 60% to fit on my printer but otherwise no problems. As did a few other makes posted, I sprayed the whole thing gold and then black. Then I wiped the black off right away with a towel. It left a really cool effect that definitely looks way better than the gold paint on it's own. Great idea to whomever first came up with that.
For the stones I tried a few things but ultimately landed on printing them in clear PLA with 100% infill. Then I lightly painted them each color. If I'd had an air brush that probably would have worked better but it turned out OK.
Note - printer is really the first gen mini but I had to choose "mini 2" or I couldn't save.
