the other day I got from a friend a nice old analog power supply from the junkyard from his company. One of the handles was missing. In Thingiverse I found the handle thing 1107453 from thehans. What I really liked was the fact that he made this handle with parameters. So it was very easy for me as a OpenSCAD beginner to adapt this 20x20 handle to my needs. I only added two lines of code:
boltDistance = 134; // Distance of the centers of the 2 bolts.
length = boltDistance + width; //overall length
It fits well and looks so nice that I am thinking about removing the original one on the right side of the photo and replace it with another printed one. Printed in PLA, it is surprisingly stiff.
