Still a work in Progress. Parts not glued together yet, and have not been sanded nor painted either.
It has been printed at 90% with a lots of support and at this size it would fit my kid who is 7 years old. I write it would fit and the reason for that is if the helmet is glued the hole at the bottom is too narrow (even with the new version of the chin part). Top and back can be glued together, also faceplate can be glued with the chin part , I only need a solution how to fix those two parts once the helmet is on the head.
I have added some neodymium magnets to the back and chin part. - it seems to work well, eventhoug the faceplate is still not glued to the chin I am positive it will come out fine at the end.
It is finished. It works really good chin+faceplate are glued together and detachable from the back and top. Added pictures of the final product.
I have used 4 of the following neodymium magnets:
Keep in mind that 1 magnet that is going to be used to create the holes will loose its magnetic property on heating it up so you will need 5 at least or you will have to add the holes for the magnets some other way.
