Painted with real rust :D
This looks amazing, do you have a method video or general instructions?
First off my name is Kayne, what a coincidence! And really I just used bondo spot putty and a lot of sanding. Then automotive filler primer, sanded again. Then more bondo, then more filler primer, going back and forth between the two sanding until I achieved the smoothness I desired. Then I used gloss black spray paint as a base, and then silver acrylic tamiya paint in an airbrush. Then I used a way of watered down black, green, and brown paint to give it a worn and grungey look. Then I did some dry brushing with silver for highlights. Then I took some paint with real iron flakes in it and painted the low points and crevices and then add an antiquing agent that made it rust.
Thank you for the reply, I'll see how I go when I get the time to print this!
