Bottom left, half tube's worth (168gm tube, 29gm/part, plus about 10gm of waste per part) of stock shaped red high temp rtv silicone socks, along with assorted parts for the stock shape mold. Top right, remixed 1mm shortened nozzle prototype mold clamped up and curing in a poor man's humidifier (open plastic bag with a wet paper towel inside). Not shown is the small tube of rtv silicone with one of those ratcheting toothpaste squeezer rollers from thingiverse attached to it... that takes all the pain out of cycling the mold! :)
These socks easily withstand 260C nylon prints with no changes in hardness or discoloration. The official blue e3d socks often turned a whitish color and hardened up a bit at those temps. Plus these fit my clone e3dv6 like a glove!
