I made two versions. The first one with a wood filament, finished by sanding, staining with walnut stain, and roughed it up again with medium coarse sandpaper to give it a worn appearance. Finished it off with a layer of darkened beeswax, used a hot blow drier to smooth out the beeswax and wipe excess off. Turned out better than anticipated.
The second version is made from copper infused filament. It sounds the best out of the two and although you can see the lines of each layer I love this as it gives it some texture.
So fun to make! I would recommend anyone to make this, especially with children as it is easy to use.
