I made the studio. I also downloaded the generic stand and modified it. You can see the first one that is just a platform then the second one has a screw thread to allow the platform to be raised to the desired height. I will post both the mods on Thingiverse and reference this studio.
This works well right off the printer. I didn't use any supports to print it. I have also included an example photo. I have been taking photos of all my designs and this will be extremely handy for the smaller stuff. I use open camera on my Samsung Galaxy S5 Android phone, it allows me to lock the focus so I don't have to deal with that very annoying auto focus every time I move the photo subject.
I wasn't sure what the elastic bands were for on the front part of the main body but I presume they are for friction to hold the camera better.
The light stands stick the print surface like sh*t to a blanket. Be careful when you remove them. I have seen others that have injured themselves with the blade when the print sticks that well. - I might mod the bottom so it's not a completely flat surface that will allow it to pop off the print surface a little easier.
