Printed this headset holder for a friend of mine.
Printed with my Creality CR-10
Ice Filament PLA Brave Black
Layer : 0,1mm
Infill : 30%
Had to scale up the STL file by 7.8x !
3,5mm holes are still little tight, was 3,51mm on 3D model.
I have to work on holes clearance when printing :)
Super nice ! I think i'll have to enlarge the holes for the jack. Do you have any recommendation of the diameter size i should use in the 3D model, or do you think it's related to the printer's precision ? Had the same issue on mine.
I think the major problem with the model is that it is not well scale as I had to upscale 7.8x !
By the way for 3.5mm jack holes y think there must be a clearance to have, didn't mess with this on my own experience but I think there are best pratices on this somewhere out there :)
Yeah i did read your issue with the scale (7.8x, what a strange number coming from nowhere Oo), i'll have to double check my export settings or something. This is really really strange.
And yeah, was thinking about reading more on the best practices to make clearance holes suited for jack's and others. I'm kinda new to modelling "for" 3d printers, so any advice is always welcomed ^^
Yeah I'm also new to all this, but trying is a good start !
By the way my friend seems to be happy with this print ;-)
Parfait, c'est le principal ^^
